The kidney shaped top with a three-quarter pierced bronze gallery surrounding a brown gilt-tooled leather lined writing surface above a frieze mounted with bronze trim containing a drawer with a key, the fluted legs lead to a tiered shelf, ending in a very slight cabriole leg mounted with foliate bronze trim continuing to chutes ending in foliate cast sabots.
